This is the new music video i directed for the band UnFamiliar Occurrence.  The song is “Something Blue” of thier MurMur EP release.  It features lead singer Sam Oak on a quest of sorts and actress Kindy Barr struting here stuff reminiscient of a White Snake, Motley Crue video of yesteryear…..

So here is the original trailer for Still Lover.  It was made for its preimere at the DancesWithFilms festival in 2003.  It ended up winning the “Audience Fusion Award” at the festival that year in the shorts category.

I will be shooting a new film tentatively titled “Knock Knock” in mid feb. This does delay the editing process for “whale” since i am cutting it myself becuause of many reasons. But i will adhere to its completion date in June. The new film is a 14 page script written by Chris Manz, and shot on S16. Its comical and kind of a new thing for me, but i am excited about it.

Aside from the immediate, the music video i shot of Something Blue by Unfamiliar Occurrence will be color corrected and ready to go by Sunday. The release will be posted but its within this month.

Oh shit, this blog is so damn impersonal. God, what has happened, what has created this formal monster?

Also, sorry about my website.  It is two years old, and the only thing i added was this damn mundane blog.  That pretentious “who is Amir Motlagh” needs to suffer a respectful demise.  My friends who design websites are lazy, and outsourcing is the way to go with these things.  So, do you know how to design?  Hook a brother up.

I directed a music video for the band Unfamiliar Occurrence a few weeks ago. The video’s cut is locked, we are just waiting for color correction and it’s ready for release. I will keep people updated on its priemere and i will probably have a version here to watch. It will also come on thier new album as an enhanced CD.

It features actress Kindy Barr and Unfamiliar Occurrence’s Sam Oak on a quest of sorts. Its straight up Rock and Roll.

Also, my feature film “whale” is on the road to completion. I am under the impression that the final piece will be ready by June 2007.

And on a different note, i am also releasing a Shanks and the Dreamers album titled “A Day Late: Instrumentals for Illegal Aliens” in March 2007.

Of course i always pretend to update these damn blogs, but maybe this year, i will keep my word? Anyways, i might have no other choice.
